Texas Film Hall of Fame Preview Screening: No Country for Old Met

When: Monday February 27, 2012
7 p.m.

Location: Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar
Austin, Texas

About the screening: Each year, the Texas Film Hall of Fame Awards honor Texas legends in the entertainment industry. Gear up for the 12th annual Awards show on March 8 at ACL Live at The Moody Theater with three fun screenings of films by this year's honorees. Screenings will include special guests and door prizes including tickets to the Awards.

NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN takes place in a small Texas border town in 1980. Sheriff Bell (a never-been-better Tommy Lee Jones) has ruled the land for years without the use of a gun, but a new brand of reckless lawlessness has taken over his town. Texas Film Hall of Fame Honoree Barry Corbin plays Ellis, Sheriff Bell's uncle and ex-lawman.
