Sep 1, 2010 - Texas Filmmakers Announce 2010 Texas Film & Video Grant Recipients

Texas Filmmakers announces the recipients of the 2010 Texas Film & Video Grants. These awards are meant to provide financial assistance to emerging filmmakers for small-budget independent media projects. This year's recipients have demonstrated a high level of skill as well as the community and industry support needed to complete their work. The 2010 TFVG receipients are:
David Hamilton (Denton) will receive $500 for a Composer for his feature-length documentary, Searching For Mom.
Ryan Kline (Dallas) will receive $400 for Props Construction and Art Design for his short film, Meat.
Ya'Ke Smith (Fort Worth) will receive $275 for DVD Duplication and Postage for his short film Katrina's Son.
