Entergy Texas continues restoring electrical service to customers affected by Hurricane Ike. At 11 a.m., the outage report shows that 383,826, or 98 percent, of the Texas customers affected by Hurricane Ike now have power, with 8,774 still in need of electricity.Public Utility Commission

Hurricane Ike Entergy outages in Texas totaled 335,398
Entergy Texas, Inc. reports that 16,806 customers are unable to receive power because of access issues caused by flooding. In the Orange and Bridge City areas, there are access problems with 8,600 customers; in the Port Arthur area, 1,450 customers are affected; and in the Winnie area, 6,756 customers are affected.Public Utility Commission

As of 10 a.m. Tuesday electric utilities informed the PUC that power is restored to more than 800,000 homes and businesses affected by Hurricane Ike. Approximately two million Texas customers remain without power. Public Utility Commission: PUC has restored electricity to at least 700,000 homes and businesses. Approximately 2.2 million homes and business are still without power. Hurricane Ike caused outages throughout East Texas including Texarkana as it moved through the state.Public Utility Commission
