Governor's Mansion Restoration Fund Donors

First Lady Anita Perry established the Texas Governor's Mansion Restoration Fund in July 2008, which has raised more than $3.5 million in donations from thousands of Texans. Private funds have been used for the addition to the west side, restoration of historical features, such as the Ionic columns, code changes necessary under the new American and Disabilities Act, and the completion of landscaping and historical documentation. Restoring the Texas Governor's Mansion has been a statewide effort, and together with the support of proud Texans near and far and history enthusiasts, this Texas treasure has been returned to the grandeur in which it was meant to exist.
