Established as a record label in 1995 while based in Colchester, England, HairBall8 Records moved to San Diego, CA in 1996. The label's first release was a compilation of punk and psychobilly artists featuring Blink 182, Lagwagon and Barnyard Ballers. In 2003 HairBall8 Records re-located to South Texas and produced a tribute CD to Johnny Cash featuring Supersuckers, Dale Watson and Jesse Dayton.
