The New Conservatory of Dallas offers a music program for pre-college string students studying violin, viola, cello, and double bass. We are a nonprofit organization supporting classical music and young artists. The New Conservatory of Dallas offers the following performing groups: Conservatory Chamber Orchestra, the most advanced pre-college string players, Conservatory Allegro Orchestra, a training orchestra for intermediate string students: Conservatory training orchestra for elementary string students. The curriculum of the New Conservatory of Dallas includes music theory, sectional coaching, orchestra rehearsals, orchestra performance experience, recitals participation, and master classes. Students meet approximately 30 Saturdays during the school year. Members of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and other accomplished musicians are involved in directing and coaching of rehearsals and performances. The New Conservatory of Dallas celebrated its annual Symphony of Toys Concert on Sunday after Thanksgiving at the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center.
