Cheapo has the largest selection of CDs, vinyl LPs, DVDs, and games in Texas. The store covers 10,000 sq/ft with a multitude of genres for any music lover. Cheapo encourages local musicians to consign their product, as well as play on the famous stage. The stage has heard the diverse sounds of Tony Joe White, Daniel Johnston, Petty Booka, Trash Can Sinatras, The Rezillos, Michelle Shocked, and Flametrick Subs. Cheapo is open to 11:00 p.m. daily, yes even your birthday. Cheapo is the last authentic music store in Austin, and Texas.
