Grayson
County College's Music Department consists of the vocal and instrumental departments.
Approximately 75 students are enrolled. Courses include Fundamentals of Music,
Ear training, Sight singing, Music appreciation, Music theory, Instruction in
writing popular music, Class piano, Class voice, and Musical theater. Performance
opportunities include the Grayson Show Choir. We also offer private lessons in
voice, organ, piano, and all brass and woodwind instruments. Jill Templet is the
primary vocal instructor, and Mike Cantwell is the primary instrumental instructor.
