We offer numerous music scholarships to vocalists, pianists and instrumentalists. These scholarships are awarded to full-time students who are enrolled in an ensemble. Scholarship amounts range up to $1,500 per year.

Brazosport College Music Department offers an Associate of Art in Music. The department includes six levels of class piano, two levels of class voice, beginning guitar, music appreciation, jazz improvisation, electronic music, music theory, and music literature. Private lessons are also available to students. Performance opportunities: Concert band (45 members), Jazz band (20 members), Coasters Combo (10 members), the College Choir (40 members), The Civic Chorus, Coasters vocal ensemble (10 members), and various small instrumental ensembles. Performance facilities include the General Theater (seats 250); director is Gary Johnstone (979) 230-3213.
