The Northeast Texas Community College Music Department offers an Associate of Arts. Only college-level courses may apply toward completion of this curriculum and the graduation requirements for the Associates of Arts degree. Courses include Music Appreciation, Music Ensemble, Piano Class or individual instruction, Music Theory, Ear Training and Sight Singing. Performance opportunities include the Jazz Ensemble and Vocal Ensemble. Performance facility is the Whatley Center for the Performing Arts (600 seats).
