Odessa College is a two-year college which offers an Associate of Arts in Music. The Music Department provides preprofessional training for music majors as well as general studies for personal enrichment. Music courses available for majors in other fields. Performance opportunities include the Odessa Choir (40 members), Concert band (75 members), Jazz Band (30 members), and Vocal Ensemble (16 members). Music directors: Lonnie Clark, Band Director (915) 335-6623 and Randy Talley, Director of Choral Music (915) 335-6631. Performance facilities include the Jack Rodgers Recital Hall (250 seats), Deaderick Auditorium (750 seats), Globe Theatre (450 seats) and the Permain Playhouse (450 seats).
