The Vernon College was built in 1972 and is located at 4400 College Drive in Vernon, Texas. The stage is 30x30. Capacity is 163. We receive grants from the Texas Commission on the Arts. We offer courses in Music Appreciation, Foundations of Music Theory, private instruction in voice, piano, and organ as well as Chamber Vocal Ensemble, designed for students interested in participating in a vocal performing group. Performance opportunities include: Vocal Ensemble (size varies) under the direction of Vicki Pennington (940-552-6291, ext. 2215); Music Theatre Ensemble (size varies) under the direction of Jack Williams (940-552-6291, ext. 2225).
