Gov. Perry Appoints Antcliff to 168th Judicial District Court

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry has named Christopher A. Antcliff of El Paso judge of the 168th Judicial District Court of El Paso County for a term to expire at the next general election.

Antcliff is a judge in the 448th Judicial District Court.  He is a past member of the El Paso Bar Association Board of Directors, and co-founder and past president of the El Paso Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.  Antcliff is also a past member of the State Bar of Texas Judiciary Relations Committee and District 17 Grievance Committee.  He is a Texas Bar Foundation fellow and a member of the Rotary Club of El Paso.

Antcliff received a bachelor’s degree and law degree from Texas Tech University.  He replaces Guadalupe Rivera.
