Gov. Perry Appoints Patteson to State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee

AUSTIN –Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Jason Kevin Patteson of Austin to the State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee for a term to expire Jan. 1, 2010. The committee determines the eligibility of entities for participation in the state charitable campaign, approves the campaign plan, budget and materials to be used by campaign managers, and ensures that all campaign activities are conducted fairly and equitably.
Patteson is an executive assistant and counsel to Texas Commission on Environmental Quality Commissioner Bryan W. Shaw. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas. Patteson received a bachelor’s degree and law degree from Baylor University. He replaces David Standlee of Huntsville.
