Gov. Perry Appoints Chupp to 141st Judicial District Court

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry has named John P. Chupp of Arlington judge of the 141st Judicial District Court for a term to expire at the next general election. The 141st District is in Tarrant County and exclusively holds civil court matters.

Chupp is a litigation attorney for the Guerrero Law Office and is board certified in personal injury trial law. He is a member of the Tarrant County Bar Association. Chupp received a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and a law degree from St. Mary’s University. He replaces Judge Len Wade of Fort Worth.

This appointment is subject to Senate confirmation.
