Gov. Perry Appoints Villarreal to the Texas Public Finance Authority

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Macedonio “Massey” Villarreal of Missouri City to the Texas Public Finance Authority for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2011. The authority issues and sells bonds for designated state agencies in order to finance the acquisition or construction of buildings.
Villarreal is president and CEO of Precision Task Group. He is chair emeritus of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and a board member of the Greater Houston Partnership and the Houston Community College Foundation. Villarreal received a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University at Corpus Christi.
