Gov. Perry Appoints Pejovich to University of Texas System Board of Regents

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Brenda Pejovich to the University of Texas System Board of Regents for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2011.

Pejovich is a certified public accountant and chief executive officer of BFG Management Company LLC. She is a board member of the Texas Policy Foundation, Texas Business Hall of Fame, Greater Texas Community Partners, World Affairs Council of Dallas/Fort Worth, and Texas Women’s Initiative. She is also a past member of the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, Texas Facilities Commission, and Texas Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors, and past director of the Dallas Area Chapter of American Red Cross and the Greater Dallas Crime Commission. Pejovich received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
