Gov. Perry Appoints Hahn to Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board

Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Harold Hahn of El Paso to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for a term to expire Aug. 31, 2013. The board sets policies and coordinates efforts to improve Texas higher education.

Hahn is chair of Rocky Mountain Mortgage Company. He is director of the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, a member and past director of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, and a member and past president of the El Paso Mortgage Bankers Association. He is also vice president and director of the Yucca Council of the Boy Scouts of America and a member of the Paso Del Norte Group. Hahn received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern New Mexico University.
