Gov. Perry Appoints Three to Rehabilitation Council of Texas
Gov. Rick Perry has appointed three members to the Rehabilitation Council of Texas. The council partners with the Texas Department of Assistive and Rehabilitative Services to advocate for people with disabilities in the vocational rehabilitation process.
Lori Henning Crutchfield of Austin is a licensed professional counselor and executive director of the Texas Association of Goodwills. She is a past member of the National and Texas Rehabilitation associations, and a past board member of the Houston Area Rehabilitation Association and Gulf Coast Workforce Development Board. She is also a past member of the American Humanics Advisory Council. Crutchfield received a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University and a master's degree in psychology and family therapy from the University of Houston at Clear Lake. She is appointed for a to term expire Oct. 29, 2013.
Michael Halligan of Georgetown is a licensed professional counselor, a board certified Wellness Recovery Action Plan facilitator, and assistant director of J & M etc. Inc. He is a member of the National and Texas Mental Health Planning and Advisory councils, Texas Mental Health Transformation Workgroup and Medical Care Advisory Committee of Texas. He is also a member of the Texas Telemedicine Advisory Committee and National Consumer Coalition, and a board member of the National Association of Mental Health Planning and Advisory Councils. Halligan received a bachelor's degree from Central State University and a master's degree in counseling psychology from Angelo State University. He is reappointed for a term to expire Oct. 29, 2012.
Mark Schroeder of Wichita Falls is a network engineer at Sheppard A.F.B and an adjunct instructor at Vernon College. He is a member of Information Systems Security Associates, the Texas Community College Teacher Association, and Vernon College Computer and Information Science/Networking Advisory Committee. He is also a CompTIA IT Professional Member. Schroeder received a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and a Master of Business Administration from Wayland Baptist University. He is appointed for a term to expire Oct. 29, 2013.
