Gov. Perry Reappoints Eisen and Reyes to Texas Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors
Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed Jay Eisen of Beaumont and Delia Reyes of Dallas to the Texas Mutual Insurance Company Board of Directors for terms to expire July 1, 2017. The board acts as a competitive force in the workers' compensation market to guarantee the availability of workers' compensation in Texas, and acts as the insurer of last resort.
Eisen is president of Sampson Steel Corporation. He is a board member and past president of the Southeast Texas Chapter of the Texas Association of Business and the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce. He is a past board member of the Texas Association of Business, Southeast Texas Food Bank, and Temple Emanuel. He is also past president of the Beaumont Jewish Federation, and past campaign division chair for United Way of Beaumont. Eisen received a bachelor's degree and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas.
Reyes is a certified public accountant, and president and CEO of Reyes Consulting Corporation. She is a founder of the Dallas-Fort Worth Hispanic 100 Organization, a member and past president of the Dallas Summit, and director and past chair of the Community Council of Greater Dallas. She is also past chair of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the first woman to serve in that position, and a past member of the Texas Woman's University Board of Regents, Governor's Commission for Women, and State Bar of Texas Board of Directors. Reyes is a graduate of the Havana Business College in Cuba.
