Gov. Perry Appoints Greenberg to Advisory Council on Emergency Medical Services
Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Robert "Bobby" Greenberg of Belton to the Advisory Council on Emergency Medical Services for a term to expire Jan. 1, 2014. The council helps federal, state and local agencies develop and implement an integrated, statewide program for emergency medical services.
Greenberg is an emergency physician and vice chair of the Scott and White Clinic and Texas A&M Health Science Center departments of Emergency Medicine. He is a member of the American and Texas Medical associations, American College of Emergency Physicians, Society for Academic Emergency Medicine and National Association of Emergency Medical Services Physicians. He is also a member and past president of the Texas College of Emergency Physicians, and a volunteer physician with the Temple Community Free Clinic. Greenberg received a bachelor's degree from Northeast Louisiana University and a medical degree from Louisiana State University Medical Center-Shreveport.
