Gov. Perry Appoints Bauer to Council on Sex Offender Treatment

Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Terri Bauer of Richardson to the Council on Sex Offender Treatment for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2013. The council develops and implements education policy concerning effective interventions and management of sex offenders.
Bauer is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed sex offender treatment provider, and director of the Collin County Juvenile Probation Department Juvenile Sex Offender Program. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers, and a trainer and guest speaker for the Child Advocacy Center of Collin County.
Bauer received a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in social work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
