Gov. Perry Appoints Three to State Committee of Examiners in the Fitting and Dispensing of Hearing Instruments
Gov. Rick Perry has appointed three members to the State Committee of Examiners in the Fitting and Dispensing of Hearing Instruments for terms to expire Dec. 31, 2017. The committee licenses and regulates fitters and dispensers of hearing instruments in Texas.
William McCrae of San Antonio is president and owner of Beltone Audiology and Hearing Aids. He is a member of the International Hearing Society, immediate past president of the Texas Hearing Aid Association, and a board member of the Association of Progressive Rental Organizations. He is also past president of Texas Association of Rental Agencies, former mayor pro tempore of the City of Kerrville, past president of the Kerrville Kiwanis Club, and a past board member of the Hill Country YMCA. McCrae served in the U.S. Navy.
Jesus "Jesse" Rangel Jr. of Longview is owner of Beltone Hearing Aid Center, and a licensed hearing aid dealer. He is a board member of Texas Hearing Aid Association, and a member of the International Hearing Society and Louisiana Society of Hearing Aid Specialists. He is also a member of the Longview Knights of Columbus and National Rifle Association, and a past member of the Longview chapter of the National Association of American Business Clubs.
Barbara Willy of Sugar Land is former senior manager of operational excellence for Siemens Hearing Instruments North America Headquarters in New Jersey. She is a member of the Project Management Institute, and a certified master black belt of Six Sigma training program. She is a past committee member of the Siemens Helping Hands program and a former volunteer with Math Options for Women at Pennsylvania State University. Willy received a bachelor's degree from Pennsylvania State University. She is being reappointed.
