Gov. Perry Appoints Three to Midwestern State University Board of Regents
Gov. Rick Perry has appointed three members to the Midwestern State University Board of Regents effective Feb. 25, 2012 for terms to expire Feb. 25, 2018.
Fenton Lynwood Givens of Plano is a self-employed consultant and investment analyst. He is a member of the American Physical Society and Gideons International, and a past member of the University of Texas at Dallas Research Advisory Board. Givens received a bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University, and a master's degree and doctorate degree in physics from the University of Texas. He is being reappointed.
Charles "Jeff" Gregg of Seymour is a certified public accountant and shareholder of Davis Kinard and Co. He is a member and past president of the Texas Society of CPAs, Seymour Lions Club, and Haskell Rotary Club, and is board treasurer of the Seymour Community Development Corporation and Seymour School Foundation. He is also a past board member of the Baylor County Hospital District and Midwestern State University Alumni Association, and a past advisory board member of the Texas State Board of Public Accountancy. Gregg received a bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University.
Samuel Sanchez of Fort Worth is an attorney at Cordell and Cordell. He is a member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, and Tarrant County Family Law Association. He is a court appointed attorney for Tarrant County Juvenile Law, and a past member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Sanchez received a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and a law degree from Texas Wesleyan University Law School. He is being reappointed.
