Gov. Perry Appoints McCarn to the Manufactured Housing Board

Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Bob McCarn of Port Lavaca to the Manufactured Housing Board for a term to expire Jan. 31, 2013. The board regulates the state's manufactured housing industry.
McCarn is a retired rancher. He is a member of the Goliad County Historical Commission and a past member of the Calhoun County Cattleman's Association. He served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Army Reserves.
McCarn received a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and attended St. Mary's Law School.
