Gov. Perry Appoints Boatright to Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners

Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Anne Boatright of Smithville to the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2015. The board licenses chiropractors and chiropractic facilities, and registers chiropractic radiological technicians.

Boatright is president and CEO of Capitol Credit Union. She is a member of the Austin Credit Union Manager Association, Texas Credit Union League Legislative Affairs Committee, and Credit Union National Association (CUNA), and a member and past board chair of the Austin Chapter of Credit Unions. She is past board chair of the Texas Credit Union League and a past trustee of the Texas Credit Union Foundation. She is also a volunteer with the 3N1 Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, past member of the Texas On-Site Wastewater Treatment Research Council and Private Sector Prison Industries Oversight Authority, and former honorary trustee of the Austin Children's Hospital Foundation.

Boatright is a graduate of the University of Houston Southwest CUNA Management School.
