Gov. Perry Reappoints Three to Lower Neches Valley Authority Board of Directors
Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed three members to the Lower Neches Valley Authority Board of Directors for terms to expire July 28, 2017. The board provides water, manages floods and protects the quality of water for the Lower Neches Valley.
Matthew "Dade" Phelan of Beaumont is a commercial real estate broker and partner at Phelan Investments. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers, board secretary of Catholic Charities of Southeast Texas, and a board member of Southeast Texas Court Appointed Special Advocates, the Jefferson Theatre Society and Golden Triangle Coastal Conservation Association. Phelan received a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas.
Jordan Reese IV of Beaumont is president of Loral Construction. He is a member of Associated Builders and Contractors, Business Executives for National Security, Lamar University's Friends of the Arts and Lamar University Construction Management Program Advisory Board. He is also a member of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Beaumont. Reese received a bachelor's degree from Texas Christian University.
James "Olan" Webb of Silsbee is retired. He is a member of the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, a past member of the American Management Association, and a former volunteer for Junior Achievement of the Golden Triangle. Webb received a bachelor's degree from Lamar University.
