Gov. Perry Appoints Gersuk to Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities

Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Stephen Gersuk of Plano to the Texas Council for Developmental Disabilities for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2013. The council works to ensure all Texans with developmental disabilities have the opportunity to be independent, productive and valued members of their communities.
Gersuk is a business developer for a defense electronics company. He is president of the Denton State Supported Living Center (DSSL) Family Association, and a board member of the DSSL Volunteer Services Council.
Gersuk received a bachelor's degree from Virginia Tech University.
