Gov. Perry Appoints Patrick as Judge of the 177th Judicial District Court in Harris County

Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Ryan Patrick of Houston as Judge of the 177th Judicial District Court in Harris County for a term to expire at the next general election.

Patrick is an assistant district attorney for Harris County. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and Texas District and County Attorneys Association, and a past member of the Houston Young Lawyers Association. He is a volunteer Sunday school teacher at Houston's First Baptist Church and a former mock trial coach at South Texas College of Law.

Patrick received a bachelor's degree from Baylor University and a law degree from South Texas College of Law.
