Gov. Perry Reappoints Donnell to Employees Retirement System of Texas Board of Trustees
Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed Cydney C. Donnell of Fredericksburg to the Employees Retirement System of Texas Board of Trustees for a term to expire Aug. 31, 2018. The board oversees a $23 billion retirement fund and the administration of state employee and retiree health insurance benefits, a deferred compensation plan and a flexible benefits program.
Donnell is an executive professor, associate department head of finance and director of real estate programs at Texas A&M University (TAMU) Mays Business School. She is a current member and past board member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, a member of the Society of TAMU Real Estate Professionals, and a past member of Women Executives in Real Estate. She is a board member of the Post Oak Forest Home Owners Association, a past board member of the TAMU Association of Former Students, a past member of the Texas A&M Foundation Investment Advisory Committee, and a past board member and past treasurer of the TAMU Chapter of the Facilities Corporation of Kappa Alpha Theta.
Donnell received a bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University.
