Gov. Perry Appoints Law to Central Colorado River Authority

Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Herman Law of Burkett to the Central Colorado River Authority for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2015. The authority controls, stores, preserves and distributes water from the Central Colorado River and its tributaries for domestic, municipal flood control, irrigation, power and other purposes.
Law is a rancher and retired president of Dorman Tire and Service Company, Inc. He is past president of the Texas Tire Dealers Association and chairman of the First Baptist Church of Coleman Board of Deacons. Law served in the U.S. Army and is a Vietnam veteran.
