Gov. Perry Appoints Troilo to Department of Information Resources
Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Arthur Troilo III of Lakeway to the Department of Information Resources for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2015. The department is charged with improving technology decisions and ensuring appropriate use of information resources at state agencies.
Troilo is an attorney and managing director of the Troilo Law Firm P.C., and former assistant attorney general of the Consumer Protection Division in the Texas Attorney General's Office. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas, District of Columbia Bar, Texas Affiliation of Affordable Housing Providers, Housing and Development Law Institute, Austin Bar Association, Austin Apartment Association and State Board of Dental Examiners. He is also a past member of the Administrative Conference of the United States.
Troilo received a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas and a law degree from the University of Houston Law Center.
