Gov. Perry Appoints Motl to Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority Board of Directors

Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Kenneth Motl of Port Lavaca to the Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority Board of Directors for a term to expire Feb. 1, 2017. The board oversees water resources for communities in its 10 county district.
Motl is a veterinarian and owner of Bayfront Animal Hospital. He is a member of the Texas Veterinary Medicine Association, and a board member of the Calhoun County Soil and Water Conservation District.
Motl received a bachelor's degree and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M University.
