Gov. Perry Appoints Smith to State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee

Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Diane B. Smith of Cedar Park to the State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee for a term to expire Jan. 1, 2014. The committee determines the eligibility of entities for participation in the State Employee Charitable Campaign, and oversees the activities of the campaign.

Smith is a retired deputy for administration in the Texas Attorney General's Office. She is a member of the U.S. Power Squadrons Austin Chapter, and a past member of the State Employee Charitable Campaign Policy Committee.

Smith received a bachelor's degree from the University of Texas.
