Gov. Perry Appoints Perkins as Presiding Officer of Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry appointed Kenneth Mack Perkins, D.C. of Conroe as presiding officer of the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners for a term to expire at the pleasure of the governor. The board licenses chiropractors and chiropractic facilities, and registers chiropractic radiological technicians.

Perkins is a chiropractor and owner of Perkins Chiropractic Health Center. He is a member and past president of the Texas Chiropractic Association, and member of the Christian Chiropractic and American Chiropractic associations. Perkins serves on the board of Montgomery County Emergency Assistance and Texas Chiropractic College, and is a member of Rotary International. He attended the University of Houston and received a doctor of chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College.
