Gov. Perry Appoints Jackson to Texas Military Facilities Commission

AUSTIN- Gov. Rick Perry has announced the appointment of Larry Jackson of Temple to the Texas Military Facilities Commission. The commission constructs, maintains and renovates facilities for the Texas National Guard.
Jackson is owner and president of Classic Homes by Larry Jackson and is a graduate master builder. He is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the Texas Association of Home Builders and is a past president of the Temple Area Builders Association.
Jackson received a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
His term will expire April 30, 2009.
This appointment requires senate approval.
