Gov. Perry Reappoints Barth to School Land Board

AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry has reappointed Todd Barth of Houston to the School Land Board for a term to expire Aug. 29, 2009. The board supervises the management, leasing, and sale of public school lands.

Barth is president of Bowers Properties. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and serves on the boards of several private for profit and non-profit companies. Barth received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Rochester, and a law degree and master of business administration degree from Vanderbilt University.
