Texans Go for Gold
As the world's attention turns to London for the 2012 Summer Olympic Games, Texans are once again helping Team USA show the world what champions are made of.
Texas can lay claim to at least 33 of America's top athletes, from Sugar Land's Diana and Steven Lopez in Taekwondo, to San Antonio's Keith Sanderson in shooting, all the way to Duncanville's Tamika Catching in basketball.
They're just a few of the fierce competitors with Texas roots who are heading to England to represent the red, white and blue, and bring home an Olympic Gold.
We wish them all the best of luck as they pursue their dreams, and bring pride to their nation and the Lone Star State. We'll be right there to sing the Star Spangled Banner along with them at the finish.
