A Holiday Message from Texas Governor Rick Perry
Thursday, December 24, 2009 Press Release
Even as our nation endures the impact of a global economic crisis and many families experience tougher times, there is much to be thankful for as we prepare to welcome a new year. As we look back over a strong 2009, we remain committed to our goal of working toward the day that every Texan who wants a job has a job.
As you gather with family and friends during this holiday season, I hope you’ll be encouraged at the direction we’re heading in Texas and resolve to plunge into the new year with optimism and enthusiasm. Together, we can ensure our state’s forward momentum and lead our nation out of these tough times.
Anita and I wish you the happiest of holiday seasons and hope you and yours enjoy a healthy and prosperous new year.
