Statement by Gov. Perry on the Death of Former State Rep. M.A. Taylor

Gov. Rick Perry today released the following statement regarding the death of former Texas State Rep. M.A. Taylor:

"Rep. Taylor represented the vanguard of the conservative movement in Texas, and I was proud to serve alongside him in the Legislature. His dedication to his constituents was inspirational, and his commitment to public service was an example for all of us to follow. Anita joins me in sending our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time."
