Gov. Perry Sets March 2 Special Runoff Election for Senate District 6

Gov. Perry set Saturday, March 2, 2013 as the special runoff election date in Texas Senate District 6, to fill the unexpired seat previously held by The Honorable Mario Gallegos, Jr., of Houston.
The early voting period for this special election will be held from February 20 to February 26.
The legislator elected in this special runoff election will serve a term which expires in 2016.
