Statement of Gov. Rick Perry Regarding Ruling By Three Judge Panel

“Texans expect the important issues affecting our state to be debated and decided in the State Capitol, not the courtroom. Today’s ruling affirms that principle, and I’m pleased with the court’s decision. The time for legal maneuvering is over. The people of Texas are ready for representatives and senators to get back to work on issues such as funding for trauma centers, rural schools, transportation projects as well as congressional redistricting.”
