Naphtha Cracker Dedication Ceremony Port Arthur

*Note - Gov. Perry frequently departs from prepared remarks.

Thank you, Judge (Carl) Jennings.  It’s great to be here in Port Arthur to see the culmination of a lot of hard work…and to witness firsthand the true power of cooperation, employee potential and social responsibility.

On this proud day I believe I can speak for a number Texans when I say…

I may be able to explain how a naphtha steam cracker operates…but it’s only fitting that the world’s largest is in Texas.

And how fitting that just a dozen miles down the road you’ll find the birthplace of the Texas industrial revolution.
