    Gov. Perry Congratulates Recent Graduates from DPS Trooper Recruit School
    Gov. Rick Perry gave remarks at the Texas Department of Public Service (DPS) trooper recruit school graduation ceremony where he welcomed 74 newly commissioned Highway Patrol troopers who will act as Texas peace officers. The governor believes whatever challenges their new job presents, their upbringing has prepared them, their training has refined them, and their personal integrity will guide them as they defend the people of our state.
