    Gov. Rick Perry has appointed David Tillman of Aledo and Jason Zimmerman of Keller to the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. The board oversees licensing and regulation of dental care providers in Texas, and enforces Texas laws regulating the practice of dentistry.

    Gov. Rick Perry has and named Robb Catalano of Fort Worth chair of the Advisory Committee to the Texas Board of Criminal Justice on Offenders with Medical or Mental Impairments, and appointed Denise Oncken of Houston to the committee. The committee provides a formal structure for criminal justice, health and human service and other organizations to communicate and coordinate on policy, legislative and program issues affecting offenders with special needs.

    Gov. Rick Perry has appointed Randy Williams of Abilene to the Juvenile Justice Advisory Board for a term to expire at the pleasure of the governor. The board oversees the treatment and prevention of juvenile delinquency and administers juvenile justice funds.
